Taping off the body was simple and so was cutting out the cavities with an X-ACTO\u00a0knife.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mrguitar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150507_204021.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1226\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mrguitar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150507_204021.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/mrguitar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150507_204021-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mrguitar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150507_204021-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The tape helped protect the finish, but I was hoping for a cleaner\u00a0tape line when I removed it. Painting the bridge pickup and tremolo routes were the goal.
