Warmoth installed the tremolo studs for a very reasonable price as well. I knew I&#8217;d be living with a larger route behind the bridge, but so what. I&#8217;m not\u00a0 building this to be a work of art. I&#8217;m going after a rock\u00a0 machine like Nuno&#8217;s real N4 is.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1621\" src=\"https:\/\/mrguitar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/20171003_200828.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mrguitar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/20171003_200828.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/mrguitar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/20171003_200828-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mrguitar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/20171003_200828-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><br \/>\nD&#8217;oh! In case anyone was wondering yes, the non-fine tuner floyd has a <strong>different base plate<\/strong> than the original floyd rose! This is something I was not aware of and find really annoying. It&#8217;s beyond me why they don&#8217;t use the same sharp edge on the NFT version. Luckily the bottom edge where the tremolo bar attaches fits perfectly into the route, and the posts are still in the same place.\u00a0All that&#8217;s needed is the route will need widening a bit.<\/p>\n<h3>The Heel<\/h3>\n<p>I&#8217;m already compromising by not having a Stephens Extended Cutaway on this guitar, and the last thing I want to end up w\/ is a large heel.
